The D&RGW’s PA/B-1 locomotives wore several paint schemes, the most famous of which was perhaps the “Prospector” or “Aspen Gold” paint scheme, consisting of a striking two-tone silver and gold arrangement which was highlighted by a series of four black stripes going down the side of the body.
