SoundTraxx Tsunami

Tsunami is a true 16-bit digital sound system.  At Tsunami’s core is a true 32-bit Digital Signal Processor, or DSP, capable of executing over 120 million instructions per second.   With this new level of performance, SoundTraxx was able to give Tsunami 14 functions, over 22 individual sounds, and 4 special effects including the ability to alter the exhaust sound automatically in response to changes in the engine load.

TSU-1000, 1 amp "universal" style

TSU-AT1000, "Atlas" style replacement board

TSU-GN1000, for the newer Athearn Genesis locos

TSU-KT1000, for many Kato locos

TSU-BW1000, for Bowser-Stewart Engines

TSU-IM1000 for Intermountain Diesels

TSU-750,  .75 amp "Micro" decoder for smaller installations
