LAMPS / LEDS / RESISTORS

When used in a DCC system, locomotive lamps are often replaced for several reasons. Locomotive headlamps and classification lamps are often left on for long periods, even when the engine is not moving. Plastic body shells may overheat and even become distorted. Consequently many modelers replace original lamps with LED's or 1.5 volt bulbs, both of which produce less heat than 12 or 14 volt bulbs. Some locos are plagued with dim headlights when converted to DCC and the bulbs need to be replaced. And of course all bulbs can and will simply burn out at some point. We offer a selection of the most often used miniature lamps.
