Shipping & Returns

All orders are merchandise plus shipping. Numerous postal rate increases within the last few years have forced us to increase the flat rate estimate slightly. We will continue to be as fair as possible with shipping charges, basing the shipping cost on the weight and value of the order. When your order is placed online, an $9.95 shipping estimate will be included in the order confirmatiom. Actual shipping charges may vary. Obviously, it is more costly to ship a heavy starter set or power supply than 2 or 3 decoders. Exact shipping charges will be stated on the invoice that comes with your order. Normally, our minimum shipping charge is $3.00 and maximum is $17.95. In the event that your order is heavier or more valuable than average, and you have paid with PayPal, we will invoice you for the balance(through PayPal). Actual shipping charges will apply when there is a sale in progress.

Most domestic orders will be shipped USPS First Class or Priority Mail. Heavier orders are often shipped UPS. We require insurance for all orders totaling over $50.00 and delivery confirmation for amounts under that.

International orders are shipped USPS at actual shipping-handling cost. Please email for shipping charges before ordering or you may also write a comment when placing your order, advising as to whether you want insured(USPS Priority International) or un-insured (USPS First Class International) shipping. It will speed the delivery of your order if we know this without having to email you! Please keep in mind that un-insured shipments are the responsibility of the customer. If you pay with PayPal and do not inform us we will assume you expect to have your order shipped USPS First Class International, un-insured, at your risk.

**In processing international orders we attempt to be as accurate as possible when filling out customs forms. Please do not ask us to falsify information on these forms by describing your merchandise as a "gift" or to include false values.

RETURNS: Items may be returned for up to 30 days after you have received them if they are new or in like new condition. If you receive a defective product, our manufacturers prefer that you contact them directly through their customer service departments for warranty repair or replacement of the item. Phone numbers or email addresses may be aquired through the manufacturer's web site or by emailing us.

Our main concern is that you are satisfied with your merchandise. It is impossible to cover every possible situation here so if there is a problem with your order please contact us!
